Letter From The Editor

I am so glad that its lake season! The longer days and the warm weather just puts a smile on my face! Granted, I have been listening and reading some amazing personal development material that has kind of helped that smile, too. But, seriously don’t you just love life! It’s so much more fun when you embrace it! It reminds me of that “Friends” episode where Phoebe and Rachel go running… I spent too much of my past running like Rachel consistent… do the job… don’t stand out... blend in... repeat… Where now I have been running more like Phoebe and saying Yes like Mary Lee. (check out the Power of Yes in this issue). It is so much more fun to be care free… I mean, yes I still have bills to pay and all that jazz… But I am experiencing more freedom since getting my mind right and appreciating what I have. I know I am beyond blessed compared to a lot of people and some would look at me and say I am selfish for wanting more. But, the more that I want isn’t necessarily materialistic things. I want more laughter. I want more time with family and friends. I want more freedom to explore my true potential. I encourage everyone that reads this issue of Lake Wedowee Life to figure out what you want more of this summer! We are almost to the halfway mark of 2018! You still have time for More! Go Make It HAPPEN!
