​Who will be the next Pets of Wedowee star?  

Do you have a pet who loves Lake Wedowee as much as you do? Well, get that camera out and capture your pet enjoying life at the lake, then submit your best pet photo to Lake Wedowee Life. Who knows you may have a “pet” star in your family.

FYI: Be sure to give your photo time to load.  It could take several minutes if you have a slow internet connection and/or the picture is a big file.  Once it uploads you should receive a message that we have received your entry. Thanks for participating and good luck!

The rules are simple but must be completed as explained to be eligible:
  • The picture must have been taken on Lake Wedowee in the last 18 months
  • You own the rights to the photo
  •  Enter/upload your photo and complete the designated form  by midnight Sunday, August 5, 2018.

 Note: two different entries/pets allowed per household.  
 
The Pets of Wedowee winners will be selected by a panel of judges chosen by Lake Wedowee Life and featured in the September issue of the magazine. The judges will be looking for the photos and stories that best convey a pet’s life on the lake. Resolution and quality of picture will also be a determining factor.
 
All eligible photos will be posted on our Facebook page with voting for a fan favorite from August 6 through August 15.
 
Entrants by submitting photographic images to Lake Wedowee Life, you grant a perpetual, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, and otherwise exercise all copyright and publicity rights with respect to those photographic images at our sole discretion.  Lake Wedowee Life reserves the right to select, edit and arrange submissions, and to remove images from our website or social media at any time at its sole discretion.
